  3. The Bend Up filter will place your artwork along an arch that's bent the greatest distance in the middle.  This can be used for cool titling effects.

  5. The amount slide will vary from -200% to 200%.   Positive values will bend the shape upward, while negative values will bend it downward.   At 100%, the shape will be expanded 100% of its middle height.  Values in the range of -25% to 25% probably will work best.
